In early February, the first technical conference TECH UP was held in ECAP training center. The conference was organized by Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe, a member of the Bilstein Group.
With the desire to gather technical professionals in one place and enable them to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences from various fields of the automotive industry, Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe organized a two day event during which the participants had the opportunity to listen the lectures of the most eminent experts in this field. The conference was intended for technical persons, representatives of partner organizations of the organizers.
The topics of lectures were chosen in accordance with the growing facts and changes in the technology and the environment of the automotive industry. We are proud to point out that all visitors had the opportunity to follow theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations of our lecturers, such as Jim Gilmour (Qing Consulting Ltd, UK), Bernd Techau (Chamber of Craft Skills Dortmund, Germany), Sergio Ermacora (Koola. io, BiH), Ron Winter and Henri Haefner (Velodyne Lidar, Germany), as well as the representative of our educational center, Jakov Peković.
In addition to the lectures itself, a panel discussion “Are we ready for new road maps?” was held. The discussion was very dynamic given that the vast majority of participants joined it. They talked about the impact of vehicle electrification on industry, mechanics and the spare parts market, as well as the upcoming trends that we will meet in the future. The general conclusion of the discussion is that in front of us is the time full of changes, and that we all have to follow the events together and adjust to the changed business conditions.
How important this conference is best shown by the following figures – 28 participants from 13 countries attended! Ferdinand Bilstein SEE has once again proved that it is one of the leaders in its industry in the field of technology and innovation, and we are sure that this is only one of a series of conferences that will be organized for its most important partners.
