I’m interestedWhat will you learn?
In addition to the already known exhaust gas recirculation system, a low-pressure EGR system has also been introduced as a standard in recent years. Do you know how it works and how it complements the high pressure EGR system. How does a DOC or SCR catalyst work and how can it be checked? What systems and components affect the performance of a particulate filter system without additives? When is it time for regeneration, when for cleaning, and when is it necessary to replace the DPF filter? How does the additive DPF system work and what can cause problems in its operation? How to test wideband O2 sensor, how NOx sensor? When can regeneration be done, and when will it be interrupted? Why is an error written in the control unit and is regeneration always the solution?
Why is this important?
With the tightening of exhaust gas emission norms, modern cars are forced to carry with them a real small chemical laboratory with the task of reducing the emission of harmful gases and particles. The system itself has become very complex, components are expensive, and diagnostics are complicated and demanding.
How will this training improve your work?
With the increasing complexity of these systems and their increasing complexity, diagnostics are becoming more and more demanding and the time needed to solve the problem is getting longer. A good knowledge of the system enables faster diagnostics, saving time and eliminating the unnecessary replacement of expensive system parts.
