End of September and the beginning of October 2014 was reserved for holding the event of the 65th International Motor Show Commercial Vehicles ‘’IAA NUTZFAHRZEUGE 2014’’. As in previous years, the subject show was held in Hanover in Germany.
Several hundred exhibitors, among which were both manufacturers and suppliers, presented their innovations in business operation and significant business arrangements were also concluded.
The school centre for training free servicers – ECAP (The Education Centre for Auto Professionals) from Ripanj close to Belgrade had also its place at this significant event. The ECAP representative, Mr. Zoran Petrović, the Director of the company Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe d.o.o. within which ECAP operates, presented the development of the free servicers’ education on the territory of Seria including also the Balkan region.
Mr. Petrović presented before several dozens of guests in the congress hall on September 30, the manner in which ECAP operates, having already been successfully educating servicers from the region of the entire former Yugoslavia for 2 (two) years. Over 500 attendants of this school centre had to date the opportunity to advance their knowledge and become certified experts in specific fields. The basic aim of ECAP is to support free servicers of which there are more than 92% only in Serbia, by providing training in such fields as electrics, electronics, mechanics and all the way up to helping them lead successfully automotive service centres.
‘’Together on new markets! – Promotion of foreign trade and joint development’’ was the slogan of the show which lasted several days. Mr. Matias Viseman, the Chairman of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), said: ‘’Comprehensive information about target countries and local networks are of great significance, before we go abroad, in order to be able to accomlish lasting and long-term success.’’ Organisations for foreign trade and joint cooperation promotion took the opportunity at this event to present their offers and gave an overview of existing support possibilities. Besides advantages given to companies themselves, opportunities are also offered to their countries, through higher investment funds for developing markets.
Over 250.000 people from almost 50 countries visited this year’s IAA Nutzfahrzeuge.
