I’m interestedWhat will you learn?
Do you know what could be the problem if the pressure in the low pressure section is too low and the pressure in the high pressure system is too high? How does a variable displacement compressor work?
Why is this important?
Considering the demands of the modern car market, the air conditioning system on vehicles is no longer a luxury - it has become a necessity. Almost no serious vehicle manufacturer allows themselves the "luxury" of launching a model without an air conditioning system on the market.
How will this training improve your work?
With this in mind, being able to repair the air conditioning system is almost as much of a priority as powertrain repair!
Training content
Along with the requirement to increase the performance of air conditioners, manufacturers must also meet the requirement for lower fuel consumption. Therefore, modern AC systems on vehicles have become very complex, although they all use the same physical principles of operation. A complete knowledge of these principles, as well as an understanding of the accompanying AC system management systems, greatly facilitates proper diagnosis and repair of the malfunction.
Theoretical part (30%)
– Theory of operation of the air conditioning system, successful differentiation and understanding of the low pressure part, the high pressure part, the liquid part and the gaseous part;
– Principle of operation and function of the main components and assemblies in the air conditioning system.
Practical part (%)
– Diagnostics of individual components;
– The influence of input and measured quantities on the operation and efficiency of the AC system;
– Fluids used in the AC system: role, importance and examination;
– Testing and diagnostics of control lines and actuators of different types of compressors;
– Performance testing of the system, compressor and expansion valve;
– Pressure measurement and pressure analysis;
– Use of air conditioning stations;
– Diagnostics and location of faults using air conditioning stations;
– Diagnostics using a diagnostic device and an oscilloscope;
– Measurement and diagnostics of actuators, flaps, fans.
