I’m interestedWhat will you learn?
How to determine with one simple measurement which component of the diode board has failed? How to check the mechanical condition of the motor using an oscilloscope? How to find the cause of battery discharge on vehicles that have dozens of control units.
Why is this important?
The function of the alternator itself is to generate electricity for the electrical devices on the car and to ensure charging of the battery. A faulty ignition and charging system on a car does not guarantee any driver a safe journey and does not guarantee that the car will start the engine with every turn of the key.
How will this training improve your work?
The charging and ignition system technology itself is in constant development. And there are more and more "newer" vehicles on our market. That's why you need to keep up with the latest ignition and charging systems. You will get to know the most common problems that occur in ignition systems and you will see how easily and safely the fault can be determined without even getting your hands dirty. How to determine which alternator component has failed with just one measurement. After the training, you will be able to provide reliable service for every kilometer of travel!
Training content
Regardless of whether you are a beginner or an experienced craftsman, this training introduces you to the complete ignition and charging system through various measurements using an oscilloscope, as well as the basic principles of operation of the alternator, electric starter and diode board with all its components.
Theoretical part (30%)
– Working principle of electric starter;
– Principle of operation of the alternator;
– Different ways of controlling the operation of the alternator;
– Energy consumption control.
Practical part (70%)
– Examination of laser current consumption;
– Analyzing the signal current of the laser;
– Measurement of compression using an oscilloscope;
– Alternator operation control;
– Diagnostics of the filling system;
– Diagnostics of the diode board, using an oscilloscope;
– Searching for consumers who “draw” electricity on modern vehicles.
